Confused about – Articles of Impeachment.

I missed out on my opportunity this morning to write a post, so I am writing it this afternoon. Where should I start? Unfortunately, I am confused by everything happening in Washington about President Trump and the impeachment. I don’t see the crimes that the Democrats say that President Trump has committed. The articles of impeachment the Democrats are accusing President Trump of are obstruction of congress and abuse of power. The House of Representatives released the FISA Report and wrote articles of impeachment on the same day.

Nancy Pelosi passed the USMCA bill today. I think they pressured her to pass the bill. I am glad that it happened today, but I don’t understand why she passed it on the same day she announced articles for impeachment. The USMCA bill will be a boon for President Trump’s economy and will benefit many citizens of the United States.

Articles of Impeachment
Jerry Nadler.

I watched some hearings and press conferences on the news today. What I notice is that those that are pressing for impeachment are from coastal states. The loudest senators pressing for impeachment are Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, and Dianne Feinstein from California. Jerry Nadler is from New York. He is also pressing hard for impeachment and removal of the president.

Senate Trial.

I understand that the full house will vote on the articles of impeachment later this week. After the House vote, the impeachment will move to the Senate for the Senate trial. At least that’s how I understand it to be. The Senate trial will not start until the new year in January. I am looking forward to watching the Senate, hearing where the Republicans or the Trump people will call witnesses and can cross-examine the impeachment witnesses. Until that happens, the circus continues.

Inspector General FISA Report

Today, I watched 2 hours of the inspector general’s report. It is good to see that the Republicans on the committee are fighting back against the Democrats. While Senator Lindsey Graham is the chairman of the committee, I watched his facial expression; he was not pleased with some comments made by the Democrats.

Because Inspector General Horowitz is not changing his opinion about bias by the FBI. Because his report states that he did not find any bias.

DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz Defends Report, Highlights FISA Problems

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz delivers an opening statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee on his findings on the origins of the FBI’s Russia probe in 2016. “We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that showed political bias or improper motivation influencing the decision to open his (then-FBI Counterintelligence Assistant Director Bill Prestat’s) investigation… We found that Crossfire Hurricane was opened for an allowed investigative purpose and with sufficient factual predication,” Mr. Horowitz tells lawmakers. He also talks about inaccuracies and omissions identified in the FISA application process, which were blamed in part on performance failures at the FBI.

‘I thought I dropped acid’: GOP senator describes ‘surreal’ reading of FISA report

Republican Sen. John Kennedy described in colorful terms his attempt to read through Justice Department watchdog’s report assessing the Trump-Russia investigation, saying it made him feel like he “dropped acid.”

“We’ve got some bad apples,” Kennedy said Wednesday during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the report.

“I haven’t read the entire report. I’m about 70% of the way through, but I will finish it. It’s tedious,” he said. “After about 15% of the way through, it made me want to heave. After about 25% of the way through, I thought I dropped acid. It’s surreal,” the Louisiana Republican said.

These Are My Opinions

There are back channels and subplots working inside the Trump impeachment circus. It’s interesting to watch the fight between the good people and the evil people. The United States government has become corrupted.

The Washington DC inhabitants, rather the DC politicians, have become so obsessed with the power that they no longer work for the people of the United States. They promote their own interests and lust after wealth and power. Perhaps the corruption existed outside of the United States first and then worked its way in to our government.

People don’t realize the events going on inside our government. The only interest of politicians is gaining wealth and power. Look at San Francisco and Los Angeles. You can see by the state of those cities and the many homeless people living on the streets that their representatives and senators have no interest in their constituents.

They do not involve the senators and representatives with the citizens of their country or their states. They live in gated communities, high-rise apartment buildings, and are not on the streets with the poor people. The politicians are stealing the money that should go to make life better for the people.

I believe that they will impeach the president and that the Senate will have a trial. It would be great to see the Democrats taken to task for all the evil things that they are doing and the laws they have broken.
