Members of my Family

Emma Carol Fredrickson
My mother was born October 15, 1920 in Lehi Utah and died January 3, 2000 in West Jordan, Utah. My mother did not lead a charmed life. She buried two husbands, Donald C. Newman and Fred D. Palfreyman. She married Fred on June 6th, 1958. Fred died from cancer on October 28, 1974. After eleven years of being unmarried, she married Howard Barben on January 12, 1985.
Donald Callton Newman
It’s a little difficult for me to write anything about my father since I never got the chance to know him. I can give a little statistical information, but nothing personal. He was born February 21, 1916 and died November 16, 1951. He served in the Armed Services, enlisted October 20, 1941, at Ft Douglas, Utah. He married my mother on August 23rd, 1946.
This is a picture of the Fredrickson family Fredrickson’s are on my mother’s side of the family tree. The Fredrickson family were partial founders of a town south of Tooele Utah called Vernon. All the members of the Fredrickson family are now deceased. I should say all the members of the original Fredrickson’s are deceased, but there are sons and daughters that are still living with children and grandchildren.
Newman Family
Welcome to the Newman page. I dedicate this page to the members of my father’s side of my family. This is a picture of the Jethro S Newman family. I’m not sure when it was taken, but I’m guessing in the late 40s. It is one of my favorite photographs of my father’s family.
My Newman ancestors came across the plains.
